Harborne Golf Club has a challenging 18 hole, 6180 yard Par 70 course that provides a challenge to golfers of all skill levels.
\
The layout is largely untouched from the original Harry Colt design and with over 80 bunkers it provides stern test for low handicap players as well as those who are more skilled at the game.
\
Every drive lands on upslopes in this lengthy course which tends to play longer than its actual yardage due to these slopes catching shots off guard. With four par 3s there's even further testing opportunities for pros-on-the go!
\
Colt's original design is still seen clearly today, with a challenging course that leaves many golfers wanting more.
\
Modern agronomy and greenkeeping methods have improved the surfaces of HGC by giving it sloping greens which are now renowned for their difficulty.
\
The only record so far was set in 2016 when Jack South scored an impressive 64 at this demanding course--leaving no one regretting coming to play!
