Our Review Another of Northern Ireland’s superb links courses, Portrush is, in the view of many, including some of us at MulliganPlus, the best course in Great Britain and Ireland. Not quite as daunting as Royal County Down it offers a stiff challenge but is playable for most standards and the only criticism we can offer is that the 18th hole is simply a way of getting back to the clubhouse. It has two courses, the Dunluce and Valley Links and Dunluce has its own part of Open Championship history, being the only layout outside Great Britain to host golf’s oldest major. It has many outstanding holes but first among equals are the 4th, 5th and 14th which are, respectively, a long par four, a short par four and a long par three. Golfing paradise. Mulligan+ Review
