Also known as the Clube de Golfe do Marvão, this course lies in a valley directly below medieval village of Marvão.
The area is part natural park reserve named "Serra de São Mamede" and sits on border between Portugal and Spain- which makes it an incredible getaway for anyone looking to play some golf while also enjoying breathtaking scenery!
The first eleven holes are all on fairly level ground. The last three, placed behind the clubhouse in a steep area will challenge even professional golfers to get past them without missing their target green which is protected by two tierred fescue grasses and requires strong shots from everywhere on this par 5 hole. The 12th is 50 meters long with tight fairways that slope upwards toward you as well demandingly so it can be reached only if players hit theirs shafts straight down hill otherwise they may end up taking an unexpected trip back towards where everyone started!
