Where can I play golf in Dubai?
Dubai offers a one-off unique experience for golfers around the world. Not only does it combine some brilliant courses, but you are literally playing in the desert – however green it might appear.
Now Dubai is not particularly big so within 45 mins you can travel from the north to the south and be playing the Dubai Creek Golf Club near Deira or the Els Club towards near Sports City.
There are no private golf courses in Dubai so as long as you can afford the green fee, there are no restrictions. So find your way from the floodlight courses for an evening round, to the Earth Course at Jumeriah Golf Estates where the DP World Tour Championship ends.
The Best golf Courses in Dubai
It is difficult to argue that the best course in Dubai is the new Trump International Golf Course. It opened in 2018 and was quickly recognised as the best golf course in Dubai.
Another brilliant course and one worth playing is the Earth Course at Jumeriah Golf Estates. Golfing wise it is a fantastic test, more difficult than most courses in the region, it offers a brilliant 18 hole experience in an unbelievable surrounding (and home to the DP World Tour as well).
On our top three, we would also include the Majis Course at the Emirates The Majlis, the first grass course in the Middle East, takes its name from the Arabic word for ‘meeting place’. One of the most prominent features on the course is the Majlis building itself positioned between the 8th and 9th holes and a Dubai landmark since 1988.

Top Course
This Greg Norman designed course was one of the first in Dubai designed to host a major championship.
This sharply defined, sculptured course inspired by the great parklands of Europe and North America, paints a magnificent pastiche of ora, rolling terrain and rushing water. These natural components also provide differing angles and changing perspectives from each tee.
